Virtual studio visit with jewelry school, Vanilla Ink

This month we head up to beautiful Banff in Aberdeenshire, Scotland to The Smiddy, which was once a Blacksmith’s Workshop that lay derelict for over 30 years but is now home to Vanilla Ink’s second location for offering silversmithing & jewelry making classes.
As well as operating as a silversmithing & jewellery school, studio spaces and bespoke jewellery manufacturer, Vanilla Ink are a not-for-profit social enterprise that supports young people and emerging makers within their community by offering creative opportunities, skills development and business support, helping people to improve their life skills and mental health.
Interested in learning more about how to open a studio space, run a social enterprise, manage multiple venues, deliver training sessions, realise a brick and mortar venue, or become a jeweler, then look no further folks – we’ve got you covered.
