Thriving as a creative adjacent entrepreneur with Kate Maxwell

On this episode of Elevenses with CEC we are joined by independent maker champion, curator of wonderful things and founder of Curate. Glasgow Kate Maxwell. Kate considers herself to be ‘creative adjacent’ working in a technical industry, but with a passion for art and design. Curate. Glasgow was built out of a desire to support the amazing creative talent in her adopted home city of Glasgow, whilst continuing her day job.

Her discovery platform is a love letter of sorts to selected handmade homewares, art pieces, sustainable projects, and jewelry and provides a central location to browse and connect with Glasgow’s finest independent artist, creatives, shops, and services for those who want to shop and support local businesses.

Join host Medeia Cohan as she and Kate Maxwell discuss side hustles, burgeoning business models, B2B and B2C marketing, and their shared love of all things independent and creative.
