About this event
Following on from our Evaluation 101 session, we are excited to offer the opportunity for a select number of youth arts organisations to delve deeper into evaluation methods and consider ways they can demonstrate the impact of youth arts on COVID recovery in communities. These sessions will be practical and focussed on your specific current needs and interests.
The Evaluation Toolkit is a two-part programme, for practitioners and managers working in the youth arts sector in Scotland.
Places limited to one per organisation. You must be able to attend both sessions.
Session 1 – Getting Started: Outcomes and Indicators will help you get to grips with the key building blocks of evaluation, including understanding the importance of outcomes and indicators, writing clear outcomes for your project or organisation for recovery and renewal and setting indicators to help measure whether you are achieving your outcomes.
Session 2 – Made to Measure: Evaluation Methods and Plans will help you to collect evidence of the impact of your project or organisation’s outcomes. This will include understanding the steps and principles to follow when choosing or developing methods for your evaluation, using different methods and tools to collect evidence and getting other people involved (including young people) in designing your evaluation methods.
Evaluation Toolkit is funded by the Scottish Government’s Youth Arts Fund through Creative Scotland with support from Youth Music Initiative and Time to Shine. The Youth Arts Fund ensures creative opportunities for children and young people continue to exist across Scotland despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
These events are free and open to anyone working in the Scottish youth arts sector.
We know that written forms don’t suit everybody, and our registration form does have a few questions! We invite you to email email@example.com to discuss answering the questions in other formats if you’d prefer. We are happy to accept video or audio applications which answer the questions, and are open to requests to make other reasonable adjustments to the registration process to accommodate any accessibility requirements. Please contact us if you’d like to register for this event in an alternative format.
