This opportunity is open to Wasps tenants across the network, those on our waiting list, and external artists, makers and creators.

 
Deadline: Friday 28th of June, 5pm.


This open call is for:

The Wasps Summer Market – Glasgow, 11am – 5pm on Saturday 24th and 11am – 5pm on Sunday 25th August 2024

Applications are welcome from artists/makers/designers/creators working in any discipline.

Each participant will be provided with a 6ft table and chair.


Entry to the market for the general public will be free of charge.

Food and Drink stalls will also be present for refreshments.
Please note that Wi-Fi is available at the venue.


The market will be held in the historic 1873 hall – a covered market hall space.

The venue is wheelchair accessible and has access to a disabled toilet.
 
Fee: One stall for the weekend is £45 for current Wasps Tenants and £75 to Non Wasps Tenants. This covers your pitch for both days. You must be able to attend the market for the full weekend, we do not accept single day applications.
 

Stalls can be shared – if you intend to do this please state this within your application. You will need to apply with a stall sharer already identified as this application covers both days.


The deadline for applications is the 28th of June 2024 at 5pm

We aim to confirm places within 7 days of the deadline.

Payment for those accepted will be required by Friday 26th of July at 5pm – Payment will be taken via an online link shared with accepted participants. Refunds are not provided for stalls cancelled within 3 weeks of the event. Market applications are selected on the basis of quality and range of products to allow variety of stalls. Wasps tenants are given priority place for our markets. Applications are not reviewed until after the closing date to allow fair opportunity for all.

Important information for applicants
The Glasgow LEZ (Low Emission Zone) came into effect on 1 June 2023. If you are bringing your car into the city, please check how this may affect you by using the resources below.
 
There are certain exemptions, including those with Blue Badges – however, you must pre-register your vehicle to avoid an automatic fine. Full details on exemptions, and how to register for these, are on the Glasgow City Council LEZ Website.
