The YMI CPD Fund 2023 is now accepting applications! Managed by the Scottish Music Centre on behalf of the Youth Music Initiative, fund is designed to support both individuals and organisations that conduct out-of-school music projects with children and young people.
Backed by the Scottish Government’s Youth Music Initiative through Creative Scotland, the mission is to support those who are committed to strengthening youth music in Scotland, providing benefits for young people through training and continuing professional development.
If you’re a music freelancer or part of an organisation that interacts with young people both inside and outside school settings, you may be eligible to apply.
The YMI CPD Fund will remain open until all funds have been allocated. If you need help or advice in completing your application, feel free to contact: ymitraining@scottishmusiccentre.com.
This opportunity is open to applicants across all of Scotland.
How to apply
This fund is managed by Scottish Music Centre on behalf of Youth Music Initiative. It’s intended to support individuals and organisations who work with children and young people on out-of-school music projects.
The YMI CPD Fund remains open until the funds are spent.
