Spike Island is currently seeking experienced technicians and art handlers to work with our gallery technical team and Spike Island Exhibition Services (SIES) team.

Our technicians play a vital role in supporting both the gallery and SIES technical departments to deliver high quality exhibitions and events at Spike Island and arts venues across the country. We are looking for people with experience in art handling, carpentry, fabrication, and AV installation in the visual arts sector. We are also interested in receiving applications from technicians working within theatre and set making.

Work will be offered on a casual project basis in line with our gallery programme and external projects.

Competitive rates of pay, based on experience and training.

Our next installation period commences 17 January 2022.
