Needing an internship in Glasgow? At Vevar we are looking for interns to work with us in design, manufacturing, sales and marketing.
OVERVIEW
Interns at Vevar are required to work at least one day a week in the studio and across all aspects of the business. Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable travel expenses as well as the possibility of having a design of their own development produced as meterage after completion of the project*.
GOALS

To assist in the everyday running of the studio.

To develop skills and knowledge of working in a professional environment.

To develop fabrics within industry design constraints (Design & Manufacturing interns).

Effectively communicate the Vevar Brand and products across multiple platforms (Sales and Marketing interns).
SPECIFICATIONS & HOW TO APPLY

Interns at Vevar should be students studying textiles or other related disciplines. (Except for interns wishing to apply for sales and marketing experience).

Be over the age of 18.

Be able to demonstrate a good portfolio of skills.

Be willing to assist in all aspects of the studio.

Have a UK Bank account and be eligible to work in the UK..

* meterage will be woven at the discretion of the studio and to a time frame set out at the end of the internship. Meterage will only be woven for interns who have worked ≤ 3 months or a total of 120 hours or at the discretion of the studio.
