A new funding call from the Future Fashion Factory will offer grants up to £25,000 to support short-term, high-impact collaborative innovation projects.
In the space of six months the grants will enable businesses to make major contributions to a more agile, sustainable fashion and textile industry in the UK, supported by researchers across Future Fashion Factory’s partner universities.
Businesses must be over 12 months old and generate revenue of at least £50,000 p.a. to be eligible for the grant, which will cover up to 50% of the project costs.
Projects are required to include:
- Collaboration with a researcher at one of our centres: the University of Leeds, University of Huddersfield or Royal College of Art
- A clear link to the Core Research Theme of sustainability and circular economies
- Genuine impact, for the project partners and for the wider UK fashion industry where possible.
Deadline: 28 February 2022 (16.00 GMT)
UKFT works across a wide range of projects to help the UK industry take full advantage of new technologies and markets and to help change the future landscape of the textile industry in the UK into one where circularity and environmentally sustainable supply chains are the new normal.
