Are you aged between 18-21?
Do you want to learn about film programming?
Would you enjoy running your own film screening event?
Maybe you could be one of our Young Selectors for Glasgow Film Festival 2021!

What is it?
Glasgow Film Theatre is looking for a group of young people to become young selectors for this year’s festival.

– Select your favourites to champion, including recording film introductions and writing programme notes
-Learn how festivals select films and how festival programming works from the Glasgow Film team

– Get insights into the roles of the festival team and learn about careers in festivals, cinemas and filmmaking and distribution
– Free Industry pass for GFF 2022
– Bespoke careers session from the Glasgow Film team
– Certificate and written reference upon completion of the programme (subject to attendance and commitment levels)

– Learn about review writing and creating content for social media
– Create video and digital content
