Join Glasgow CAN and Emma Collins for a funding masterclass where you will learn how to build a case for support and successfully secure funding for your Participatory Arts project.

Details: Thursday 16th September, 10am – 12.30pm, online via zoom

Do you struggle to find funding for your creative projects? Maybe you don’t know where to start looking for sources of funding. Perhaps you’ve been unsuccessful with past funding applications and you don’t know why. Or maybe you want to brush up on your skills. In this interactive session, arts and charity consultant and coach, Emma Collins, will explore what funders are really looking for, how to make your application stand out, and how to make a convincing case for support to secure your funds during this challenging time.

Emma has supported people to raise over £2.5million in grants and funding awards since 2017. Here she will help you to give your application the best chance of success. In this session Emma will also include resources for individual artist funds.

The training event is for practitioners and organisations working in participatory arts who are currently delivering projects online with communities or are perhaps in the process of planning a project.

Tickets are available for this event for Glasgow CAN members and non-Glasgow CAN members. The ticket price will vary depending on this and are pay-what-you-can. We do have a free ticket option available to those who would really benefit from this event but do not currently have the means to pay for training. Please only book one of these tickets if this is the case.

Glasgow CAN is a small social enterprise and we rely on income from events such as these to sustain the organisation, especially during this difficult period. Thank you.
