Participatory Arts Short Course
The PASC programme is tailored to equip learners with the relevant skills, knowledge and understanding required to work collaboratively and proficiently within a range of participatory settings, using the arts as a catalyst for positive social change.
The course is suited to young people aged 16-24 hoping to develop their practice and apply their arts specialism in areas including, but not limited to, communities, criminal justice, education, health, social care and youth work.
Learn how to create accessible and engaging workshops, evaluation technique, the fundamentals of fundraising and budgeting, and the health benefits of participatory arts. On completion of all modules, students will receive a PASC certificate from the Board of Glasgow Connected Arts Network, stipulating the skills and development achieved.
Weekly classes are currently taking place online.
PASC classes will be provided free of charge thanks to the National Lottery Young Start Fund.
The next PASC course is the intensive summer school which takes place from the 3rd – 5th August at the CCA in Glasgow (Covid-19 restrictions allowing).
