ELHF’s Tonic Arts & Grounds for Health programmes, in partnership with Stills Gallery, is seeking a photographer-writer(s) for a series of portraits & stories documenting NHS Lothian Staff wellbeing.

SUMMARY: Edinburgh & Lothians Health Foundation’s programmes Tonic Arts & Grounds for Health, in partnership with Stills Gallery, is seeking a freelance photographer-writer(s) for the ‘Havens Project’ – a series of portraits and stories documenting NHS Lothian staff members and their connections to green spaces and arts programming across NHS Lothian hospital sites.

CLOSING DATE: Monday, 4th July, 2022
FINALIST INTERVIEWS: 19th July 2022

CONTRACTED BY: Edinburgh & Lothians Health Foundation (ELHF)
REPORTING TO: ELHF Havens Project Manager
TIMESCALE & COMMITMENT: 12-18 months starting in September 2022. 21-28 hrs/week. Schedule to be determined with selected applicant(s).
FEE: £36,000 for one freelance artist-writer or to be divided amongst a team or group with a suggested daily rate of £200 (inclusive of VAT and all expenses). Project budget is separate to this fee. Note: for applicants residing outside of Edinburgh, housing and per diem are not provided.
PROJECT BUDGET: Up to £30,000 for local travel, printing, temporary & permanent displays, projections,
and participatory programmes such as creative writing & photography workshops.
LOCATION: Edinburgh / Midlothian (across all NHS Lothian sites)
