Creative Producer – Unexpected Gardens

Dandelion are supporting the development of a series of Unexpected Gardens across Scotland, working collaboratively with partner organisations anchored in communities to build extraordinary gardens in the most unexpected of places. The Creative Producer will be responsible for the Unexpected Garden site in Glasgow, and will work with local host organisations, communities and the Dandelion Unexpected Gardens Team to co-manage the development of the site, in-depth community engagement and partnership building and lead on delivery of a creative programme of concerts, talks, installations and Dandelion events from April – September 2022. The Dandelion project will culminate in Harvest events across all sites.

Events Manager

This role is to help the running of events for the 2022 Dandelion Festival. The Dandelion team are committed to running a sustainable project which utilises all technologies to help reduce its impact throughout. The Events Manager will support the Director of Festivals and Events across the Dandelion project. They will have specific responsibility for the following areas: planning and delivery of the Floating Gardens, planning and delivery of ‘Of Earth and Sky’ co-ordination of the Free for Alls, and overseeing management of the Mobile Bike Garden project. They will also work collaboratively with the Executive Producer, Programme Manager and wider programme and production teams to deliver events across Dandelion to the highest standards.

Logistics Coordinator

Dandelion are supporting a large-scale citizen science project involving over 500 schools and producing and presenting a series of events across Scotland in 2022 ranging from community based growing events through to large scale music and food festivals. As the Logistics Coordinator, you will coordinate the booking and logistical delivery of technical and site equipment to a wide range of projects to support the successful delivery of the project.

Production Manager – Unexpected Gardens

Dandelion are supporting the development of a series of Unexpected Gardens across Scotland, working collaboratively with partner organisations anchored in communities to build extraordinary gardens in the most unexpected of places. As a key member of the Production team, the post-holder will work across all Unexpected Garden sites, providing leadership and management in all areas of production. Working in collaboration with partner organisations and the Dandelion team they will support the technical and logistical delivery of the Unexpected Gardens to be presented at each site between April 2022 – September 2022, culminating in large scale Harvest events to be hosted across sites in September 2022.

Coordinator – Emerging Producers

To ensure that the Dandelion Emerging Creative Producers employed by partner organisations feel connected, supported and mentored, the Coordinator will organise continued professional development and training opportunities, bring the Producers together for shared learning experiences and, where appropriate, organise Go See Share visits.

Emerging Creative Producers (10 posts in total)

Supported by the core Dandelion team, each Emerging Creative Producer will work with a Dandelion Partner Organisations to actively engage people in local communities with the new Unexpected Garden spaces. This will include devising and delivering a creative programme that runs from April 2022 and culminates with a Harvest Festival on 10th September 2022.
