Culture Perth and Kinross are offering an exciting opportunity for a young person to join our events team working to support our public programme. As an Events Assistant we will support the successful individual to acquire new skills and enhance existing ones through on the job shadowing opportunities and mentoring from sector leading professionals. In this role you will support the development and delivery of events and workshops across libraries, museums and archives in Perth and Kinross.

The post is part-time (30 hours per week) for 7 months and will require some evening and weekend working to meet the needs of the project.

Culture Perth and Kinross is a vibrant charitable trust delivering Visual Art, Library, Museum, Archive and Gallery services across 17 venues. With an ambitious development programme we are well placed to offer the right candidate experiences which will stretch, inspire and further develop their skills and CV.

This role is part funded by the Young Person’s Guarantee, therefore applicants must be aged 16 – 24 in order to apply.
