Website Coaching for Creatives

Coaching for Creatives are delighted to be partnering with Creative Scotland’s Literature Team to build on last year’s successful programme with a follow-on pilot for mid-career writers based in Scotland.

Our aim is for this programme to boost resilience and confidence for writers as they respond to the impacts of COVID-19. We hope that Refreshing Your Practice will offer a supportive environment for a group of 9 mid-career writers to think through their next steps with their creative work, both as individuals and as part of a group of their peers.

Applications are open until 28 November and all applicants will be notified of the results of their application by 8 December.

The programme
If you are selected, you will receive:

– 5 hours of free one-to-one coaching support with an accredited coach between December 2021 and February 2022
– 3 group coaching sessions between December 2021 and May 2022
– Access support is available for both the one-to-one and the group coaching sessions. In addition, there is a small stipend of £50 per writer for attending each of the 3 group coaching sessions.

To learn more about the benefits of one-to-one coaching we have this resource. Alternatively you can read about the impact of the Coaching for Creatives pilot here.
