Chamber Music Scotland: Celebrating chamber music’s tradition and
exploring its future.
This is an exciting time for Chamber Music Scotland as we enter our next
stage of development as the national body for chamber music in Scotland
and continue to grow both the organisation and the wider Scottish chamber
music sector. We’re embracing new ideas and new ways of supporting the
people we work with across the country, advocating for inclusivity in classical
music, emphasising community partnerships, and establishing Scotland as a
destination for world-class chamber music.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced fundraiser to join our small team to help us make exciting things
happen in Scotland’s chamber music sector. The ideal candidate will be someone who can work
alongside us to deliver our ambitions and grow the organisation in new and creative ways. We want
to undertake exciting, inclusive work and embrace experimentation; we value our staff and the people
supported by our activity and we are driven by values of creativity, kindness and innovation. If you

Main duties:
The CMS office is located in Glasgow City Centre, however, we are open to the possibility of remote working.

Knowledge and Skills Required


* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Demonstrable experience in a fundraising role
* Excellent track record of income generation
* Ability to work within a small team
* Working with a diverse range of stakeholder


* Experience of working in the arts and/or classical music
* Experience of working in the third sector and/or with volunteers
* Experience of fundraising in both large (nationwide) and small (local community) contexts

Part-time (0.5 level:
2.5 days per week)
Fixed term post: 1 year
£30,000 pro rata
