Impact Arts is currently increasing our pool of Art Therapists in order to meet demand for delivery of children’s Art Therapy across Glasgow and North Lanarkshire, specifically work as part of the Counselling in Education Establishments contract. Our Art Therapy services are delivered in one to one and group settings within primary schools across Glasgow and North Lanarkshire.
You will be working in partnership with our Programme Manager to deliver and develop the service, ensuring that the desired outcomes for the individuals and project.
Job title: Art Therapist
Salary: £31,000 per annum pro rata (we have various contracts available, example £6,200 pro rata for 1 day per week)
Based at: Primary schools in Glasgow & North Lanarkshire
Reporting to: Programme Manager
Duration of contract: Initially 12 weeks between January and March 2024. Possible extension to June 2024.
Working Hours: We are seeking to recruit a number of positions with various working days. Our standard working hours are between 9am and 5pm. Please see below for more information on our flexible working policy.
Travel: May be required between Impact Arts projects. Travel expenses will be paid if travelling between schools on the same day.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Professional qualification in Art Therapy
- Minimum 1 year experience of delivering 1:1 Art Therapy and/ or group therapy
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
