Join us as we head down a magical little lane in Glasgow to the Hidden Lane Brewery for fun little noise around the quirky building with Managing Director, Rachael Suttle to learn about how the brewery came to be and what makes it particularly unique and entirely special.
Finnieston’s first brewery, Hidden Lane Brewery produces all-organic beers designed to be enjoyed with food and used in cooking. In addition to their already diverse range of products including Tropical Ale, Raspberry Saison, ALS, 88, Lager Lager, and the new Lager Town Glasgowist collaboration, during the pandemic, the team evolved their offer to include two-litre refillable glass “growler” bottles allowing beer fans to have carry-outs delivered to their front door with zero packaging making them more sustainable.

More about Rachel Suttle
Rachel started her career aged just 13 working in hospitality and this sparked a lifelong passion for the industry. She worked in cafes, hotels, bars, and nightclubs, building a rich understanding of the various environments and styles of customer service, and eventually went on to work for Budweiser and Diageo, where her love of beer developed.
After a short career break to raise her children and support her husband’s enterprises, Rachel returned to the other side of the hospitality industry with Hidden Lane Brewery, which is a passion project for her. She is hugely enthusiastic about food and drink and her brewery’s organic nature using only the best of ingredients perfectly sums up her ethos.
